Tips to Remove Dental Plaque easily at home


Plaque is a sticky, yellowish soft film of microbes that builds up between your teeth, on gum and on tongue. If your teeth are not cleaned properly, multiple layers of Plaque combine with minerals present in saliva and forms a dark yellow or brown calcified layer on your tooth. This is known as tartar.
If you happen to suffer from plaque or tartar, your smile can look unattractive and breath may smell foul. But we have an amazing home remedy to solve this problem, once end for all.
Cloves had been used since ages in ancient medicine, as a cure for toothache and oral ailments. Clove also has antibacterial property that kills the microbes that form plaque in your mouth. Here’s how to use it:
Mix 1 teaspoon of powdered cloves and a little olive oil. Apply this mixture on your teeth. You can also use your toothbrush and brush your teeth for 2-3 minute with this mix. At the end, rinse it off with lukewarm water. Do this twice a day.
Or chewing 1 or 2 cloves on a regularly supports oral health and reduce bad breath caused by the bacteria in your mouth.
In 2014, Indian Society of Period-ontology published a paper that notes that an herbal mouth rinse containing clove, tea tree oil, and basil reduced the microbial colony. This makes it a very effective anti-plaque agent.
