Iran beaten by China in 2017 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship

The Iran men's national under-23 volleyball team has sustained its first loss at the second round of the 19th Asian Senior Men’s Volleyball Championship in Indonesia.
On Thursday, the Iranian squad, which had blanked Chinese Taipei 3-0 (25–20, 30–28 and 25–21) at the end of a Pool B match the previous day, lost to the Chinese team 0-3 (25–27, 19–25 and 20–25) in a Pool E encounter.
The 2017 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship is the 19th edition of the biennial international tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC).
It opened in Gresik, Indonesia, on July 24, and will run through August 1, 2017.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is drawn with Australia, China and Chinese Taipei in Pool F at the classification round of the volleyball competitions.
The host nation is pitted against Japan, Kazakhstan and South Korea in Pool E.
Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and Vietnam are in Pool G.
Pool H consists of Hong Kong, Iraq, Pakistan and Thailand.
